Born 8/12/1940 in Everett, WA. To Opal and Dormann Haywood, passed away on April 2, 2012 after a 6+ year battle with cancer and other medical problems. Wes lived all his life in North Seattle. He was a barber for many years in the Crown Hill area. He also owned a couple of businesses in the same area. After retiring, he loved to play golf and work in his yard. He had a special gift for gardening. Wes was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Francis and brother Ed, Sr.. From his first marriage, Wesley had a son Bret Arron. In 1985 he married Sandra and acquired three step children, Katherine, Earl, Jr. and Stacey. Together they have 10 grandchildren, Wesley, Taylor, Farrah, Earl III, Samantha, Christina, Kristopher, Michael, Marcus and Kaitlin and 7 great grandchildren, Nathan, Caden, Destiney, Jamie, Davina, Michael, Jr. and Sterling. Wes loved everyone and we loved him. The Haywood family would like to thank the Dr.'s, nurses and staff at Virginia Mason who took such wonderful care of him the last 6 years, especially Dr. Picozzi. At his request there will be no service.
