Please accept my sincerest condolences on the loss of your beloved, William. I pray you will find comfort in the promises from our Creator when he states, 'Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out (John 5:28, 29). This is a guarantee from God that soon we will be with our loved ones in the resurrection.
 May God grant you the peace to bring you comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your heart.

Dear Cathy, Irene and Gordon:

I am so sad to learn of your Dad's passing.  He was such a fun-loving, happy kind of guy as I remember him.  I was recently looking at some old snapshots and came across those of our camping trip to Chelan.  Remember that?  Your car got a flat tire and we took a picture of the state trooper changing it with your Dad.  He was sure good at rolling up our sleeping bags!!  Another vivid memory is him coming home from work when we all lived on 52nd street.  He would have that little blue bottle that held milk for his tea at work.  Your Mom would take it out and rinse it out for the next day.  It's funny how those kind of memories stay with you.  Believe me when I say I know how you all feel.  We lost Mom in March at the age of 92.  I lost my man, Marvin, in July.....he was only 51.  It's hard but you will feel better as each day goes on.  Enjoy the memories and take care of each other.

Uncle Willy and I would sit for hours talking about Scotland.  He told me that the first house he ever rented in Scotland was from my mother's Mother Mrs. Stewart and Uncle Willy thought she was the worst landlady he'd ever come in contact with...but he had fond memories of my grandmother and grandfather. Just shortly before his passing my Uncle Willy jokingly told me that he remembered having a spat with my grandmother in Scotland about how high the rent was...she told him if he did'nt like the rent costs then he could move...he laughed at me and said that's when he decided to come to America....I will miss my Uncle Willy very much...He was loved very much by me....Love, Margaret Philips
