Bill was born in December 1948 in Ballard, WA. to George F. Worthy and Edith F. (Hogan). After graduating from Ballard High School in 1968, he worked at Kolstrand as a master metal trades craftsman. While employed there he designed and built a windmill that he used in conjunction with solar panels to power the house he built.
Bill was very gifted in metal working and mechanical ingenuity; he loved to take things apart and put them back together since he was a very little boy. As he grew to a man Bill could fix just about anything. He loved taking cars apart and putting them back together, he fixed many things for me and others. He loved giving gifts to others and was a kind, compassionate, and caring man.
Bill remained single his entire life. Billy and his Mother enjoyed studying with J Vernon McGee and his radio program Thru the Bible. He loves GOD and loved studying the Bible (Gods love letter to us all).
Bill was preceded in death by his dad in 1998 and his mama in 2009. He took wonderful care of them both at the family home for his full life. Bill is survived by his loving sister Marie (Terry), nephews Kevin, Bryan (Judith) and niece Alisa (Mike).
Following Bill's wishes, there will be no funeral. If you wish, donations can be made in his name to: Thru the Bible, with J. Vernon McGee at https://ttb.org/; or Seattle's Union Gospel Mission at P. O. Box 202, Seattle, WA 98111; or to an organization of your choice.
Bill is not suffering anymore and now is safe, loved, and whole with GOD FOREVER.
