Yaeko Kito Leppell

Yaeko Kito Leppell, age 91 1/2 years old and 4ft 10 & 1/2" tall, passed away on March 23, 2018 after a brief battle with cancer. She was born on August 2, 1926 in Nagoya, Japan, the daughter of Taigiro & Teruko Kito. She had many brothers & sisters who preceded her in death.

Mom worked at Crescent Dept. Store, Commercial Creamery in Spokane and 17 years at Seattle Housing before retiring.

Mom was a jitterbug champion, loved ballroom dancing, lots of "bling", W. Seattle Senior Center poker, bingo, slots, Laughlin trips and all kinds of traveling, dining out, Mariner games and especially time spent with Terrell & Tiara.

Survived by daughters, Debbie Peterson (Roy) and Ramona Leppell (Trevor Fernandes) ; 4 grandchildren: Nathan & Coral Coppernoll, Terrell (Chiho) & Tiara Fernandes; 3 step-grandchildren, Jackie, Sally, Becky, and son-in-law, Clint Coppernoll. Preceded in death by a daughter, Belinda Coppernoll.
