Lula was a remarkable wife, mother & yiayia who, at the age of 97, left us after a long and fulfilling life. She was a cherished matriarch, married to her husband John Babarakos for an incredible 70 years. In 1973, Lula and John moved to the United States where she worked at Avtech Corporation for 18 years.
Lula’s kindness and warmth touched everyone she met, and her community holds her in high regard for her generous and loving spirit. She was not only a wonderful mother and yiayia but also an amazing cook whose recipes brought comfort and joy to all the family gatherings. Her caring nature and faithful heart were the foundations upon which her family grew and flourished.
As we bid farewell, we take solace in the countless memories and the legacy of love she leaves behind. Her life was a testament to the beauty of family, the joy of giving, and the strength of a kind and generous heart. She will be dearly missed, and her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us all.
May we find comfort in knowing that her journey was full, her life well-lived, and her impact immeasurable. May her loving memory be eternal.
