I didn't know Alice Hasdorff that well, but remember my Mom, Rose Hasdorff talking about her and what a fine person she was. My Mom married Lincoln Hasdorff (son of Gus Hasdorff -Yorktown, Tx). My condolences to the family and all who loved Alice. My prayers are with you. Pat Hasdorff Wilson

AUNT ALICE WAS A GRACIOUS, WONDERFUL PERSON.  HER AND HER HUSBAND OF MANY YEARS LOVED HUNTING AND FISHING AND ENJOYED THIS WONDERFUL LIFE WE HAVE ALL BEEN BLESSED WITH.  I AM SURE GOD HAS A BEAUTIFUL PLACE RESERVED FOR HER.

We were saddened to hear about Aunt Alice.  She was very special.  I was able to spend some good times and visits with her in her last years.  She would always want to know about Clay's deer hunting.  She talked about how she enjoyed just sitting in the blind and watching the day wake up.  She was my last living Aunt.  I will miss her.

My mother, Edith Schwarzlose Kruse and Alice were the only 2 girls in a family of 9 children. Mom always said that she & Aunt Alice had wonderful times together, singing as they did their chores.  The girls went to work in the fields along with the boys & men and then when they came into the house they were expected to help with the household chores. She said that they made their chores as much fun as they could. Aunt Alice I know that you and Mom are back together enjoying each other's company & love. We miss you every day.

Alice Marie Hasdorff was known as Granny to a large portion of her family. Alice and her husband of many years, Wilson Hasdorff, enjoyed a fun filled life together. They had a passion for hunting and fishing, and pursued that whenever possible.  In 1979, Wilson passed on and left Alice with many wonderful memories. Alice had 3 grandchildren, Johnny in 1957 being the 1st, then came Sherilyn (Missy) in 1968 and a little later came Mandy in 1976. Alice played a large part in the raising of Johnny during his early years, yet had plenty of love and care for Sherilyn and Mandy when they came into her life. In 1985 Alice was blessed with her first great grandchild, Faye Marie O'Bar, and she again gave her love and care for Faye. A few years later Alice was blessed with another great grandchild, Bailey East and then 2 more, Lindsey East and Zane Sullivan came into her life. Alice enjoyed each and everyone of them immensely and made sure that everyone of her great grandchildren were loved and cared for in a way that they will all remember in their hearts. As time went on Alice enjoyed her traveling with friends and family, and even made a trip to Germany, to take in some of her origin. She discovered a hidden talent of china painting and persued that with a vengeance. Alice left us with many treasured  keepsakes. Alice always put her family before everything and being a hard headed German, she usually got her way. Alice loved red roses, humming birds, and enjoyed watching wildlife. She also left us with the best turkey dressing and cookie recipes. We will all miss Granny, she has left us with so many wonderful memories and keepsakes, she will always be with us.
