Alton Albert Zunker

Alton Zunker passed away on May 16, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 92. He was born on November 13, 1923 in Elm Creek, Texas to Louis and Louise Lenz Zunker. Mr. Zunker was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Kriestch Zunker; daughter, Sandra Kunkel; siblings, Laura Ewald, walter Zunker, Herbert Zunker and Milton Zunker. He is survived by his children, Kenneth Zunker (Cibolo, TX), Glen Zunker (Seguin, TX), Terry Zunker (San Antonio, TX), and Steven Zunker (Dale, TX); daughter-in-law, Christine Zunker; son-in-law, Tim Montgomery; 4 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A Committal Service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park, 2951 State Hwy 46 South, New Braunfels, TX 78130. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Goetz Funeral Home.
