Emiterio Soliz

Emiterio Soliz of Seguin, TX was born in Yancy, TX on March 3, 1925, and went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 10, 2010 at the age of 85 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Maria Soliz; Son, Gilbert M. Soliz and his wife Nellie; granddaughters, Patricia Gomez and husband Samuel, Jr., Sandra Serna and husband David, III, Jennifer Lopez and husband William, Jr.; great grandchildren, Stephanie Castillo Gunter and husband Joe, Jr., Alexander Soliz, Jacob Soliz, Eric Soliz, K’Lynn Serna, Tristan Hernandez, Evan Lopez and Jaden Lopez; great-great granddaughters, Ariana and Ryleigh Gunter; brother, Benjamin Soliz; sisters, Irene Hernandez and Maria Anna Guarjardo. Mr. Soliz was preceded in death by his parents, Leonardo and Rosa Soliz; brother, Juan Soliz; and sisters, Trine Garcia, Maria Elena Frausto, Francisca Moncada and Manuela Bautista.

A visitation will be held in the Goetz Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Sunday, September 12, 2010 from 4-9PM, with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 13, 2010 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church beginning at 10:00 AM, with interment to follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park, with Military Honors. There will be a reception following services on Monday in the Church Hall.
