Felimon Moreno Sr.

Felimon Moreno Sr. of Seguin passed away on August 2, 2013 at the age of 86 at home surrounded by his family after battling with illness. He was born in Seguin on March 2, 1927 to Feliciano and Jovita Moreno. Felimon was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was very passionate about doing yard work and landscaping, this was his everyday life and he will be greatly missed. He was a very hardworking man who provided for his family. Felimon was a devoted member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church and his family and grandchildren were his life.

Survivors include his significant other, Mary Moreno; sons, Alfredo Moreno and wife Emma, Feliciano Moreno and significant other Wanda Rosales and Elias Moreno; 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; sons Felimon Moreno, Jr., Peter Moreno and grandchildren Crystal Lynn and Alfredo Moreno Jr.

A visitation will be held at Goetz Funeral Home on Monday August 5th from 2-9 with the Rosary recited at 7p.m. Visitation will continue Tuesday until a 9:30 departure for 10 a.m Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church with interment to follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery. Pallbearers will include: Freddy Ramirez, Ricky Marmolejo, Mario Soto, Thomas Medina, Santos Perez Jr., Able Moreno, Trinidad Rosales Jr. and Lupe Soto.
