Lee Humphreys

Lee was an avid poker player and in his younger days he greatly enjoyed hunting. He was the owner of Lee’s Plumbing in Seguin for 20 years. He serviced many local businesses including, but not limited to, hotels and restaurants. Lee was well known by city officials and was a 20 year member of the Elk’s Lodge #1229-Seguin.

Lee is preceded in death by his parents Eddie and Ima Humphreys; brother, Paul Eugene Humphreys, and son in law Allan Cohen.

He is survived by his wife Shirley of 62 years; daughter, Teresa Cohen; son, Frank Humphreys and his wife Esther Clay; several grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; one aunt and many cousins. He is also survived by his best friend’s daughters: Bonnie Stewart and her husband Curtis and Debbie Bosanko and her husband Thomas.

A visitation will take place on Monday, Feb. 24, 214 at Goetz Funeral Home from 4-8 pm. A celebration of Lee’s life will be on Tuesday the 25th at Goetz beginning at 11:30 am with Bro. Butch Ikles presiding. After a private burial, the Humphreys family would like to invite you to celebrate Lee’s life at a reception at the Seguin Elk’s Lodge at 2 pm.
