Mary Sosa

Mary Gloria Sosa passed away January 12, 2014 at the age of 68 at her home with her family. She was born in McQueeney Texas to Louisa Ramos on December 4, 1945. Mary was preceded in death by her mother, her infant son Pablo Sosa Jr. and her brother Jose Reyes. Mary is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Pablo F. Sosa, her three daughters, Mary Jane Sosa (Chuck), Velma Sosa and Diane Sosa (Bob) and her two sons Anthony Sosa and his wife Amy and Adam Sosa (Irma), her nine grandchildren, Celeste Schwarzlose, Cheyenne Shaw and her husband Brian, Natalie McWhorter, Dante Medina, Alexa and Christian Sanchez, Hayley, Anthony & Amyah Sosa, two great granddaughters Kameren & Kamilah Shaw, and her two brothers Alex R. Reyes and his wife Dolores and Alfredo Lozano and his wife Gaye. She retired from Tyson after 25 years. She loved fishing, spending time with her loved ones, being outdoors, dancing and was always on the go. Mary was a strong woman in her faith. Her natural unselfishness was one of the many great qualities she was known and loved for. She was the glue that held the family together. She was a dedicated wife, mother, friend and Elvis fan to all that knew her.

A Rosary will be recited at 10 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church with Mass at 10:30 on Friday, January 17, 2014.
