He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Jaqueline; son, Mark Valentien of Lorena; daughter, Tracy Valentien of Kingsbury; and sister, Joan Dudman of Luling with her husband Roy.
Visitation will be held in the front stateroom of Goetz Funeral Home from 5-7 pm on Friday, January 4th.
Funeral services will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, January 5th at St. John's Lutheran Church in Marion.
Interment will be in Premont Cemetery at 1 pm on Monday, January 7th.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church or the Marion Education Foundation.
