Robert Henry Dickens Jr.

Robert was born on March 29, 1929 in Carrizo Springs, Texas to Robert H. Dickens Sr. and Tennessee DeSpain Dickens.

Robert had a long career in the oil field industry. He was a devoted husband and loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Tennessee: his wife, Irene Joy: son, Doug and sister Mildred Akers.

Survivors include his daughters: Patsy Holcomb (Mike), Janet Blundell (Gary), and Martha Chapman (Curtis). Grandchildren David Holcomb (Christy), Brent Holcomb (Elena), Bass Blundell ( Sarah), Buck Blundell (Sherry), Sarah Chapman, Laura Rumbelow (Ryan). Great grandchildren Lauren Holcomb, Ryan Holcomb, Katelyn Holcomb, Kayleigh Blundell, Madeline Holcomb, Olivia Holcomb, Bass Blundell Jr. Bridget Blundell, Hunter Blundell, Brylie Blundell, Bevyn Blundell, and Benjamin Blundell.

A private graveside service and interment for the family will be held at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
