Virginia L. Beecher passed away in Stockdale on the 6th of June, 2012 at the age of 87 years. She was born in Detroit, MI to John and Olive Bone Hibbitts in 1924. Virginia was preceded in death by a daughter, June Brown, of Bioxi, MS. She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Hunt, of Stockdale; son, David Ellis, of Stockdale; daughter, Patricia Patterson, of Harlingen; 11 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren with one on the way.
