HAMEROFF, Augusta Morris, 95, of Gulfport, Florida, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2012 after a long illness. She was born May 14, 1917 in Brooklyn, NY and moved to St. Petersburg, Florida in 1975.
She is survived by two children, Jane E. Solomon and son-in-law Stewart, and Dr. Nathan M. Hameroff and his longtime companion Kimberly Caminiti; four grandchildren, Dr’s Daniel and Brian Hameroff and Renee and Michael Solomon and daughter-in-law Marlo.
She was preceded in death by her husband Sam.
Other survivors include a former daughter-in-law Ms. Helen Hameroff and great grandchildren Morgan Lillie and McKenna Charlotte Solomon.
The family would like to acknowledge two caregivers, Melissa Zistler and Dottie Aarons for their unselfish dedication and care of our mother.

Visitation held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2012 at the funeral home.
Funeral services held 3:00 pm Sunday, March 4, 2012 at the funeral home.
