Carol was born on August 16, 1944 to Fred and Virginia Overbaugh in Ossining, NY. After graduating from Ossining High School, Carol worked for the New York Central Railroad. In 1966, she married Alphonse Crisci. Alphonse and Carol resided in Ossining and then in Peekskill, NY before moving to Florida in 1972.
Carol started a career in food service with Pinellas County Schools. She worked her way up to Food Service Manager and after 34 years with the County Schools, she retired. Carol enjoyed visiting with family, shopping and making lunch or dinner plans with former work colleagues. She loved the Holidays and celebrating birthdays - always making sure she made a favorite food, creating awesome cakes, planning a game and just making it extra special for everyone. Christmas was her favorite Holiday. Just when we thought she had enough Christmas decorations, every year she added more.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. She is survived by her sister, Joan (Gary); her daughter, Cynthia (Dale); sons, Alphonse Jr (Ashley), Anthony, Michael (Eileen) and Fred (April) and seven grandchildren.
We will honor Carol with a Christmas theme at her Celebration of Life to be held 1 pm Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Garden Sanctuary Funeral Home, Seminole, Florida.
