69, of Seminole, Florida, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Hospice House Woodside in Pinellas Park, Florida.
She was born November 18, 1943 in Syracuse New York, the daughter of Ernest H. and Dorothy V. “Dries” Curtis.
Carolyn and her late husband, Robert, moved to Florida in 1976 from Rochester, New York. She was a mental health therapist for Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida where she worked with many children and their families to improve their lives.
She is survived by daughters, Laura Hallenbeck and Janis Muncy, and her husband Brett; a sister, Lynette Curtis; and grandchildren, Mary, Max, Mason, Matthew, and Madison Muncy.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in her memory to: Hospice of the Florida Suncoast or American Cancer Association.
