
Chuck was born at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam, New York on October 30, 1962 to the late Charles R. Caruso, Sr. and Elsie L. (Barbato) Caruso.Chuck lived in Massachusetts just out of college then moved to Florida where he remained until his passing.
He is survived by his sister, Elise M (Peter L.) Miczek; nephews, Kyle P Miczek and Vincent A. Miczek; niece, Stephanie E (Ryan) Matthews and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Chuck played sports as a child. He played baseball and football. He graduated as one of the top of his class from Amsterdam High School in 1980. He went on to complete his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with Honors in 1984. From a young age, Chuck was an avid sports collector. He was employed with Raytheon Corporation until his retirement a few years ago.
Chuck was someone who liked to understand things before taking action and was both very clear on the information he has and used his imagination to identify solutions. He made decisions based on facts and logic and planned everything out. There was a list for everything!
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 5-7 pm with a Celebration of Life Service at 6 pm for his Florida friends and colleagues at Garden Sanctuary Funeral Home, 7950 131st St N, Seminole, FL 33776.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service in Amsterdam , New York c/o Betz, Rossi, Bellinger and Stewart Funeral Home with an inurnment at St. Michael’s Cemetery. Arrangements were made under the direction of Garden Sanctuary Funeral Home, 7950 131st Street, Seminole, FL 33776\727-391-0121.
