Christopher W. Collett, 41, of St. Petersburg, Florida, died peacefully in his sleep at home on December 31, 2016. He was born on February 24, 1975, in Fairfax, Virginia. Although an only child, Christopher had a large family. He is survived by his parents, Larry L. Collett and Susan Alley, and step-father, Robert Alley, all of St. Petersburg, Florida; his half-brother, Michael Collett (AZ); his step-brother, Robert (Felicia) Alley (MD); his step-sister, Christin Alley (OK); his uncles, Raymond (Rowena) Archer (CA) and William (Lana) Archer (MO); his aunts, Sharon Fahien (FL), Sandra (Bill) Harris (MD), Sheila Cartelli (CA), and Shelly (Steven) Datu (CA). In addition, he is survived by 13 first cousins and 8 second cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, DeWayne and Shirley Archer, Clyde Collett and Barbara Newbegin; his uncles, Jimmy Collett, Philip Thomas, and Robert P. Cartelli; his aunts, Shirlyn Teater and Debra Archer.

The family is planning a Celebration of Life on January 22, 2016 at the “Corner Pocket Pool Hall” located at 12686 Starkey Road, Largo, Florida 33777 at 7 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.
