Crystal Elizabeth Bote

Crystal Elizabeth Bote`, 35, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born on July 8, 1983 at Bayfront hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida to Debbie Cloud and Jeff Bote`. Crystal was raised in Pinellas Park, FL with her mom and step-dad, Jeff Cloud. Crystal graduated from Pinellas Park high school in Largo, FL.

As a child, Crystal enjoyed dancing, hanging out with her friends and spending time with her family. She was always someone you wanted to be around, her laugh was infectious and her smile lit the room up. Her heart was truly made of gold. Crystal and her mom, Debbie, had an inseparable bond; they were true best friends. They would go to the beach, get their nails done, and always have a cousin in tow with them. Debbie always made sure that Crystal was able to live her life to the fullest. As Crystal got older and her Friedreich's Ataxia started to take a toll on her body; she did not let that get her down. Being confined to a wheelchair wouldn't stop her from doing things she loved; like going shopping with her mom or on roller coasters at Busch Gardens or going out with her best friend Taryn to an all night skate at the skating rink she frequented. Crystal loved being out and around people; it’s what made her happy. However, she always loved to come home to her dog Ryder who was a loyal companion that gave her unconditional love and company. Crystal adored her brothers, Chad, Luke, and Logan. She was Chad’s number one fan at his baseball games, always making sure to never miss a game. Crystal and her mom would spend all day at the beach; she would be set up with her headphones and stay to see the cotton candy sky sunset. A hobby of Crystals was displaying all of her loved ones photographs, especially her second cousins. She adored all of them, and always looked forward to spending Christmas Eve watching them open their presents. Crystal loved going to the movies with her mom; they would go any chance they had.

Crystal is survived by her mother, Debbie Cloud and step-dad, Jeff Cloud; Father, Jeff Bote`; 3 brothers, Chad, Luke, and Logan; Grandmothers, Donna Cloud, and Bess Anderson; 6 Aunts, Ruby, Sharon, Tish, Cathy, Sue, and Patty; 5 uncles, Barry, John, Terry, Bill, and Mark; and many cousins and second cousins.

She was preceded in death by her Papa, Bruce Cloud, Granny, her aunts, Elaine and Patty, and Step-mother, Kathy Bote`.

Crystal would want to be remembered by her loved ones as someone who always had a smile on her face, loved unconditionally, and had more strength and fight than anyone you would know. She would want everyone to find peace knowing that she is running and dancing free on the most beautiful beaches anyone on earth could possibly imagine. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held from 6 – 8pm, Friday, December 28, 2018 at Garden Sanctuary Funeral Home.
