Dale John Rosengren passed away peacefully, albeit too early, on January 11th 2022 surrounded by his loved ones after a battle with pancreatic cancer. Dale was born November 29th 1956 in Chicago, Illinois. He was a child of four with siblings Mike, Robin and Kathy to his parents William and Jean. He moved to Florida with his wife Ricki in 1986. He became a proud father to his only child Dawn in 1983. He and Ricki were married nearly 40 years at the time of his passing.
Dale worked for many years as a pharmaceutical pressman at West Company. He was an avid fisherman, garage saler and collector. He loved the water and the air. He enjoyed hot air ballooning, deep sea fishing and even flew a plane. He also loved sports. Whether it was the Bears or the Bucs, he was a great fan. Nothing was better to him than beer and wings in front of the tube. He was never much of a traveler, but loved activities around town. He enjoyed gardening, especially his beautiful orchid collection. He thrived outdoors and loved his cats and his tropical yard. He also enjoyed being surrounded by his wife’s daycare children. He was a big kid at heart and a funny, easy-going guy.
Dale was preceded in death by his brother Mike, father William and mother Jean and best friends Jeff, Al and Larry. He will be greatly missed.
