Darlene Bush, the First Lady of the Herbert Bush family for 53 years has left this world to reside for eternity with her Heavenly Father.

She is survived by her spouse Herbert Bush, Children; Tim (Karen) Bush, Herbert Jr. (Janeen) Bush, Mike Bush, and Kim Bush. Grand Children; Brianne (Dustin) Smith, Matthew (Kate) Bush, Ashley DeRamirez, Josh Hurst, Haley Schmidt, Noah Bush, Parker Bush, and Conner Bush. Great Grand Children; Elliott Smith, Levi Smith, Cohen Bush, Jaxxi Hurst, and Lane Bush. Sister Joyce Clarkston and Brother Larry Long.

Matthew 23:11-12

Whoever is the greatest should be the servant of the others. If you put yourself above others, you will be put down. But if you humble yourself, you will be honored.”

As a wife, mom, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother you were truly the greatest, and we honor your life well lived. Thank you for the Godly example of living a life of kindness and empathy towards others, giving without expectation of any return, self-sacrifice, and unconditional love to family and friends. You met life’s obstacles without complaint, without a feeling of being owed, and giving up not being an option. That same kindred-spirit is embodied within the family members who remain behind. Thank you for the examples set above, and thanks to God for the time we had with you.
