When I was a young man, Don was larger than life to me. He was always such a special person to me, and more importantly, to my mom. He loved her with his whole heart, and took such amazing care of her right until the end. For that, I was forever indebted to him. I love him and will miss him dearly.

Keith is one of my favorite brother-in-laws! I have sweet memories of Keith. When he was married to my Sister; me, my sisters, & brothers would have rather stayed at their house than go on vacation with my parents. Keith always showed us alot of attention. He made us do chores, but always rewarded us later by playing games with us, such as badmitton & cribbage! We always had so much fun with Keith! He will be missed! He had a kind soul with a kind heart! I'll never forget the look on his face when Andrea & I walked into his room at the Kentucky VA! I had not seen him for years & he remembered me! It was priceless! Love you Keith!!

I always enjoyed our family trips to Florida to visit Uncle Keith (before he was Don). I remember all the tropical birds he had at his home and how he loved them. He was a great guy and always seemed to enjoy life. He will be missed by me, my husband Kevin and Sally his sister.

Don was such a great father in-law, everyone he met loved him and will always remember him. He was a kindhearted man that would help anyone at any time. I am so grateful to have had him in my life. Those we love don’t go away they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard but always near, so loved, so missed, so very dear.

What a wonderful man. He will be missed, Don was my uncle's table mate at their assisted living and they made an instant connection and became the best of friends. Before every meal Don would knock and make sure that my uncle knew it was mealtime and check on him. He was a wonderful friend to my uncle and was a great friend to everyone there. I would say that he never met a stranger and could talk with anyone. My cousin, Vicki and I can never thank him enough for all he did for my uncle and I am sure he would say it was nothing, but to us, we are eternally grateful for what a wonderful friend he was and how he cared. We were so blessed to know him and have him in our lives. We are so so sorry for your loss.

Dad you will forever be in my heart. I will keep that thought close until my own death one day. Anyone can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a dad. Thanks for being mine. I love you!
