Don was a 1948 grad of St. Albans High school, Owner & President of National Roofcoater's INC and was proud to serve in the US Army. HE was a member of Washington Lodge #58 in St. Albans, WV, and Beni Kedem Shriners in Charleston, WV.
After moving to Treasure Island, FL, in 1989, he participated in the Christmas Boat Parade for many years on his boat, the "Graham Slam," winning multiple awards, including the Mayor's Trophy and 1st place!
Don's outgoing nature and people skills helped him take on projects and ensure his volunteers had a great time completing their tasks. He expanded the Treasure Island Beach Cleanup in 1997, eventually turning it over to another Don, and restarted the Veteran's Boat Parade the following year. Both projects are still going strong! In 2001, Don spearheaded the building of new docks at the American Legion Post 273 in Madeira Beach, FL. He also headed the Wheelchair Ramp Ministry at his Church, Pasadena Community Church, from 2004-2010, turning it over to another Don.
His friends and family will remember him fondly for the many volunteer hours they enjoyed working alongside Mr. Donald J. Graham.
He is buried in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans, near his parents and brothers. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am., Thursday Aug. 7, 2025 at Pasadena Community Church in the Chapel, 227 70th Street South, St. Petersburg, FL 33707.
