74, of Seminole, passed away Feb. 5, 2013 at home under the care of hospice and family.
He was born March 23, 1938 in Washington, Pennsylvania. Don retired as a police Lieutenant for the Metropolitan Police Dept. in Washington, DC, where he served from 1960 -1980. His second retirement was from the Hilton Corporation. He was a member of A.O.R.P. and served in the US Navy in the late 1950s.
Survivors include his wife, Cracker Holton-Sprowls; a brother, James Sprowls, and his wife, Marlyn; step-daughters, Jean Mullins and Sue Holton; a step-son, Bryan Holton; step-grandchildren, John and Michelle Mullins; nieces, Rhea Arledge and her husband, John, and Dawn Dann and her husband, Rich; a great niece, Nicole Arledge, great nephew, Ricky Dann and cousin, Patricia Mounts.
A memorial service will be held 2pm Saturday at Garden Sanctuary Funeral Home, 7950 131st St. Seminole, FL 33776. 727-391-0121
