Dorothy Clara Niquette

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Albert M. Niquette and daughter, Brenda J. Tanuis.

She is survived by her sons, Craig M. (Barbara) of Waterbury, CT, Lance A. (Claire) of Clearwater, FL, Michael S. (Deborah) of Brewster, NY, Randall J. (Margaret) of Southbury, CT; daughters, Karen L. (William) Whitcomb of Riverview, FL and Robin L. (Michael) Moscato of Beacon Falls, CT; 23 grandchidren; 30 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; brothers, Donald (Blanche) Hammond of Virginia, Thomas (Jean) Hammond of Tennessee; sister, Yvonne (Pete) Peterson of Shelton, Connecticut and many many friends.

Dorothy retired from the Seal Corporation of Naugatuck, CT in 1994. She was a member of the Sunflowers Cancer Support Group of Gulf Coast Oncology, Paradise Island Rockettes, Red Hats - Mad Hatters and Red Hats R Us, worked as a volunteer for the St. Vincent de Paul Society and Meals on Wheels and served as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Clearwater. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Vincent de Paul Society.
