91, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away September 11, 2015 at Suncoast Hospice Care Center in Pinellas Park, Florida. She was born February 2, 1924 in New York City, the daughter of George and Anna (Beck) Ruppert. Dorothy and her late husband, Thomas J. Sullivan, Jr., moved to Florida in 1973 from Staten Island, New York. She was a member and Eucharistic Minister at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Seminole, Florida.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, George and Howard Ruppert. Survivors include sons, Thomas Sullivan and his wife, Wanda, and Robert Sullivan; a daughter, Diane Alvarez and her husband, David; granddaughters, Jennifer Boyd, Jaclyn Andrews, and Jill Andrews; and great grandchildren, Taylor Andrews and Landon Huff.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00a.m. Saturday, October 3rd at the funeral home with a committal service and interment to follow at Garden Sanctuary Cemetery in Seminole, Florida.
