I only learned today of Edna Jensen's passing.  Mrs. Jensen was a remarkable and gifted woman, so strong of character, with a smile that was both kind and mischievous and a laugh that just made you feel better.  We worked together on several church projects, and I learned much from her gentle wisdom through my many years at Holy Trinity.  Sincere condolences to all those who mourn her loss even now.  From my many talks with her, I am confident that she was blessed with a special place in heaven to reward her for her devotion to caring for others throughout her career.

Mark and family, I am sorry for your loss.  It is so hard to say goodbye to someone you love - especially your mother. May she rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Edna was a very special caring person who was always ready to do what ever it took to help others. God sometimes sends people into our Life for a reason.
People come and go in and out of our Life but some of them will stay there forever even after they are gone.
She will always be in my heart and memories. She will be missed! I only knew her for the past few years but I enjoyed her company and our many phone calls ! she always gave me a reason to stay strong and make the best of life.

I did not know  Mom & Grandma Edna  as long as everyone else.    I had the pleasure to get to know her the last 10 years where her health unfortunately started to decline, but have some great memories.  When I think of  her I remember how well dressed she always was when I would pick her up once in a while to bring her to my parents' home.  How she would eat such small meals but enjoyed seeing her eat during the holidays.   She always was pleasant and love to talk about her nursing days and her love for the church and God.   She truly cared about others and was always there to listen.   My mom enjoyed talking to her.   She was a beautiful soul.    She was simple and no fuse person, but that is one of the things you learned to love about her.   I would remind  her that she has raised a great son Mark and would thank her.   Seeing his relationship with his mom makes me realize how special she was.   She will be missed and I know she is now an Angel looking down on her two sons and grandchildren. Mrs. Jensen was a strong member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Tampa, FL.  When I was going to elementary school there, I went to school with her two son's Mike and Mark.  Mrs. Jensen was always around the church or school doing something for the Lord.  She was strong in her faith and I remember her as a very caring and compassionate person with a gift for listening.
