Esther Faye Nikolas

Esther was born July 23, 1916, to Homer Martin and Vinona (Snook) Lower in Blue Rapids, Kansas, where she grew up and attended school. She married Walter J. Nikolas in Seneca, Kansas on January 3, 1937.

Survivors include sons, V.J. (Patricia) Nikolas of Soldotna, AK, Donald R (Mary Ann) Nikolas of St. Petersburg, FL, and a daughter, Sharon Bates of Oxford, AL.; five grandchildren, Kathy Nikolas of Hilo, HI, Charles Nikolas of Kenai, AK, Joe Haynes of Seminole, FL, Melinda Nikolas of St. Petersburg, FL and Mike Nikolas of Stilwell, OK and 10 Great Grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Vinona Lower; Husband, Walter Nikolas; two sisters, Dorothy Wagor and Gladys Goodman; a brother, Cecil Lower; one great grandchild.

At her request, no services will be held. Following cremation, interment will be alongside her husband, Walter Nikolas at Fairmont Cemetery, Blue Rapids, Kansas.
