101, of Largo, Florida and formerly of Pinellas Park, Florida, passed away October 13, 2015 at Largo Medical Center. He was born March 16, 1914 in Nelson, New York, the son of Charles and Mary (Smith) Graves. Gene was a Navy Veteran of WWII and retired as a service engineer for Telesonic Packaging.
In addition to his parents, Gene was preceded in death by his wife, Edna and a brother, Horace L. Graves. Survivors include daughters, Patricia E. Graves of Geneva, NY and Carole Sutphen of Wyoming, MI; grandchildren, Shannon Stockwell of Gulliver, MI, Erin E. Sutphen of Taylor, MI, Michael G. Sutphen of Wyoming, MI, and Matthew F. Sutphen of Pleasanton, TX.
Gene will be laid to rest next to his wife at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park in Largo at a later date.
