Eva Linda Hatcher Long

Linda was born on November 19, 1942, in Lake Worth, Florida, to Kathryn and Merlin Hatcher. She graduated from Lake Worth High School and went on to build a life filled with love, family, faith, and service to others.

Linda married Don on August 18, 1961, and together they shared many wonderful years. She worked in the restaurant industry for 20 years.

Linda was an active member of Clearwater Community Church, where she volunteered with Meals on Wheels, and was a member of Dunedin Fine Arts Center. She had a creative spirit and a deep passion for art, especially pottery and crocheting.

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Don, and her brother, Larry.

She is survived by her loving family, including her daughter Mary and Jim Rogers, and their children Leslie, Jeremy, and Libby; her son Danny and Jean Long, and their children Jessica, Courtney, and Benjamin; and her sister Donna Huck. She will also be lovingly remembered by her extended family and many friends.

A celebration of Linda's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on August 29, 2026, at Clearwater Community Church, with Phil Burgraff officiating.
