Frank P. Hillyard age 90 . Passed away quietly on August 15, 2012. Born July 14, 1922 and raised in the Oakland area of Pittsburgh. WW II veteran attached to the Greenland theater “Weather War”and European theater of operations. Retired employee of Westinghouse Bettis Atomic Plant in Pittsburgh. He was an avid golfer and 25 year resident of the Mainlands in Pinellas Park, Florida. Now reunited with the late Catherine “Kaye” Hillyard, his wife of 62 years, and siblings: John, Mary, Betty, Charlie, Eddie and Dolores. He is survived by his sons Charles and Frank and daughter-in-law Kimberly. He was the “Fun Uncle” to many nieces and nephews and friend to many. He bids a fond farewell to all of his “Numbskulls”, “Hambones”, “Muttonheads”, “Pineapples” and “Chabonies”. Services will be held 4:00 P.M. Monday August 20th at Suncoast Hospice Woodside Chapel, 6770 102nd Ave. North, Pinellas Park, Florida 33782.
