Humphreys, Gloria B., 85, of Seminole, Florida, died peacefully on Saturday, October 22, 2011 after a brief illness. Gloria was born in Winooski, VT., raised her family in Bennington, VT., and was honored as Catholic Mother of the Year, in 1965. She came to Florida in 1974, where she continued her life as a loving mother. Gloria was a member of the St. Jerome Catholic Church in Largo, Florida.
She is survived by children, Donna Schossler, Donald Humphreys, Linda Corcoran, Mary Stockmal, Gloria Humphreys, Gary Humphreys, Kathleen Dailey, Patricia McAlister, Susan Sanford; sister, Theresa Cerro; 19 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Dr. Donald Humphreys, 2 sons, and one daughter.
Visitation held 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 27, 2011 at the funeral home.
Funeral mass to be celebrated 11:00 a.m. at St. Jerome Catholic Church.
