John was an Army veteran and served his country with pride. He enjoyed sports and exercise. John loved music of all kind. In his spare time he listened to his favorite Elvis Impersonator, Frank Cannon (Dunlap).

He leaves behind a wife, Joan of 63 years, three Children, Laura Companatico, Cheryl (Ken) Lupo, John (Rebecca) Glynn Jr.; granddaughter, Heather (Kenny) Velzis; great granddaughter Mackenzie Velzis; many cousins and many great good friends.
