Linda I will forever cherish the memories....the countless delicious dinners you cooked....our numerous travels..
Remember Paris when we drank coffee while admiring Notre Dame?
Remember when Rocky dragged us through  freezing rain to go see the Musee D'Orsey only to find it closed....and how we rolled our eyes  behind his back  ?

For these and so many other memories ..for your quiet strength and your enduring love I am grateful
If I hurt you ( and I know I inadvertently hurt you) please forgive me.. 
I know  you already did at one of our last dinners when you said 
" I love you Dana !"
The Pastor said that today you got to see OUR LORD face to face
I am sure he will say these words to you : " Well done good and faithful servant !"

Dear Amanda....they...your Mom and Dad gave me the dogwood china service that could have been yours....sorry but I will treasure it

Rocky, Mary and I are deeply saddened by Linda's passing. We just wanted to offer our most sincere condolences and wish you peace and comfort during this difficult time.

Linda Pierce Perkins, beloved wife, sister, and mother, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024, in St. Petersburg, Florida. Born in Tampa, Florida, on May 18, 1953, Linda was a proud Florida native and passionate individual who touched the lives of many. Linda retired from the James A. Haley VA Hospital, where she served as a Surgical Services Coordinator. Her dedication to her work and compassion for others left a lasting impact on the hospital and its patients. 

Throughout her life, Linda had a deep love for reading, classical music, and fine arts. She was an accomplished cook and food connoisseur, and she found joy in sharing her culinary talents with others. Traveling was another one of Linda's passions, and her adventurous spirit led her to explore new places and cultures. One of Linda's greatest pleasures was her involvement in her church community. She demonstrated her love and compassion by providing meals to those in need, spreading kindness and nourishment to others in the church. 

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Eddie Pierce Jr. and Norma Jean Pierce, as well as her brother, Johnny Pierce. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Hiram T. Perkins, Ph.D., her sister, Lori Killham, and her husband, Ben. Linda is also survived by her loving daughter, Amanda Horton, esq. her husband, the Hon. David Horton, and their daughter, Annabelle. Linda also leaves behind her beloved fur babies Buffy Marie and Romeo. Linda's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of crossing paths with her during her remarkable life.

Rocky, Rose and I are so sorry to hear this news, Linda was a wonderful person great mother and wife. We will miss her.
