Luke K Wooten

WOOTEN, Luke K., 87, of Kenneth City, FL and formerly of Brooksville, FL passed away Friday, September 10, 2010. Luke was born in Trenton, GA, the son of King S. and Nancy (Walden) Wooten. He was an Army Veteran of WWII, and loved his family and playing rummy every night.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary.

Survivors include children, Nancy Fox of Chandler, NC, Janet (Bill) Richards of Kenneth City, FL, Luke, Jr. (Debbie) Wooten of Waynesville, NC, and Wayne Wooten of St. Petersburg; 6 grandchildren, Lisa M. Fox, Susan Bach, Kelley Wooten, Lafawn Price, Felicia Berry, and Crystal Doyle; 10 great grandchildren, Chase Thacker, Garrett Thacker, Caitlyn Price, Brittany Berry, Richie Berry, Brooke Berry, Ryan Berry, Kyle Doyle, Daphney Bach, and Charlie Jayn Butchko.

Visitation held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 16, 2010 at the funeral home. Funeral services held 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 17, 2010 at the funeral home and concluded with Military Honors.
