91, of South Pasadena, Florida and formerly of St. Petersburg, Florida, went home to be with the Lord and her loving husband on March 23, 2015.
Her theme song became “One Day at a Time” asking God each day for help to do whatever needed to be done. She had a wonderful God filled marriage with her late husband of 68 years. Mom enjoyed her Orchids, African Violets and watching her birds feed and bathe in her backyard. She trusted the Lord throughout her life, and her heart’s desire was to reflect Christ so others could see him more clearly. Mom’s favorite scriptures were Prov 3:5,6 and Ps 19:14.
She is survived by her loving family, daughter, Patricia Viola (Paul) and son, Jim (Jackie); grandchildren, Kristen, James, Jacqueline, and Jennifer; two great grandchildren, Madison and Matthew; nephews, Bill and Richard; and a wonderful family friend, Karen Occhiogrosso and family.
Mom will forever be affectionately remembered and greatly missed by her family and friends. Mom and Dad were faithful members of Community Bible Baptist Church in St. Petersburg since 1988.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 27, 2015 at Community Bible Baptist Church, St. Petersburg from 1:00pm until service time at 2:00pm with entombment to follow at Garden Sanctuary Cemetery in Seminole, Florida. Memorial contributions may be made in Marianne’s name to Community Bible Baptist Church, St. Petersburg, Florida.
