Mark Alan Busefink

Mark was born on December 1, 1947 in Warren, OH to Mr. Allan and Bernice Busefink. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Susan Lake of Canton, GA and Sharon Noland of St Petersburg, FL.

Mark graduated from Dixie Hollins High School in St. Petersburg, FL

Mark was retired from the FL Department of Transportation and enjoyed spending his time enjoying the property he shared with his wife in Moriston, FL. He also enjoyed spending time with his daughter, watching Florida State and Tampa Bay Buccaneer football and cheering on the Tampa Bay Rays.

He always had a smile, a joke, and a way of making everyone feel like an old friend—because to him, strangers didn’t exist.

Mark is survived by his wife of 50 years, Laura Busefink, and his daughter, Amy. Also Mr. Jim Lake of Canton, GA and numerous nieces, nephews and loving friends.

A funeral service will be held in his honor at Garden Sanctuary Funeral Home, located at 7950 131 Street North, Seminole, FL 33776, United States. The service is scheduled for October 16, 2025, at 6pm.
