Mark Jones, is survived by his wife of 32 years, Diane, he had many children and grandchildren. He loved to serve those around him. He served in the Navy on submarines for 10 years traveling all around the world. He gave much of his time to various callings within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was very active in educating young men through their journey within the Boy Scouts of America. He enjoyed being a Scout Master for years. Mark enjoyed his hobby of raising Orchids, he was an American Orchid Society Judge and past president of Florida West Coast Orchid Society.
As he retired from these adventures he moved on continuing his passion for Genealogy which led him to become an expert in Genealogy serving in the St Petersburg Family History Center at the church where he was a volunteer. He also volunteered at the Largo Library in their Genealogy Center. He served as a volunteer in the Temple in Orlando, you could find him there every Wednesday.
He helped and served everyone around him in many ways. He would always lend a hand to anyone around him who was in need of his help and care. All you ever had to do was be close to him and he knew what you were in need of, if you called him in need he would drop everything to assist you. He touched and changed many lives around him. Our hearts are warmed knowing his legacy continues in the people he served.
