Mary R. Lehrer

Mary Reilly Lehrer, 97, of Largo, FL, died peacefully at Barrington Terrace on Monday, June 11, 2012. Originally from Kearny, New Jersey, Mary worked as a secretary for Prudential Life Insurance in her late teens. After raising 4 children, Mary enjoyed working at Burrell's Press Clipping Service. She moved with her husband to Florida in 1966 and was a long-time resident of Town Shores of Gulfport. Mary was predeceased by her husband of 58 years (Walter J. Lehrer, Sr.) and 2 sisters and 2 brothers all of Town Shores in Gulfport. Mary Lehrer is survived by four children, MaryJane O'Connor of Rockaway, NJ; Robert C. Lehrer and his wife, Catherine, of Roswell, GA; Walter J. Lehrer, Jr., and his wife, MaryAnne, of Largo, FL and Suzanne Walters and her husband, James, of Brooksville, FL, along with 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Friends are calling on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 from 6 - 8 pm at Garden Sanctuary Funeral Home in Seminole, FL.
