of Largo, Florida, and formerly of New Jersey, passed away Jan. 4, 2016 at Suncoast Hospice Care Center in Pinellas Park, Florida. She was born May 12, 1924 in Passaic, New Jersey, the daughter of William and Lillian (Jennings) Ripley. Mary moved to Clearwater, Florida in 1976 from West Milford, New Jersey. She was an Army Air Force Veteran of WWII. Mary was a charter member of Women's Memorial and a member of American Legion Post #252 in Madeira Beach, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Lillian Ripley Forbes. Survivors include daughters, Maureen Smith of St. Petersburg, FL and Jeanine Hinchman of Bloomingdale, NJ; a brother, William Ripley of Seminole, FL; grandsons, Joseph Cronk of St. Petersburg, FL, Brett and Shawn Hinchman, and a great grandson, Chase Hinchman, all of New Jersey.
Mary will be laid to rest with Military Honors at 2:15pm Tuesday, February 23rd. at Bay Pines National Cemetery in Bay Pines, Florida.
