Matthew Robert Southard

SOUTHARD, Matthew Robert 36, of Tampa, FL, passed away at his home Wednesday, May 24, 2017. He was born in Raleigh, NC on July 4, 1980, and became a Florida resident in 1992 coming from Atlanta, GA. Matthew was employed by Express Scripts for the past 7 years as a client services support specialist. He enjoyed music, movies, and Rays Baseball. He loved time with his son, Myles building with Legos and had a passion for shopping for shoes and watches.

Survivors include his wife, Kathleen E (Tougas) Southard; son, Myles Robert Southard; parents, Robert and Susan Southard; father-in-law Denis Tougas; brothers, Derek James Southard, Stephen Reid Southard.

He is predeceased by his mother-in-law Mary Louise Tougas.

Visitation hours are 7 to 9pm Saturday May 27, 2017 at Garden Sanctuary Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 3 pm for Sunday May 28, 2017 at St Anne of Grace Episcopal Church 6650 113th St in Seminole. Upon the service conclusion all in attendance are invited to the parish hall for a life celebration reception.
