My deepest condolences to Arlene and all of Mike’s family. My family met Mike for the first time in February, 2018, when our mother, Bettie, became a resident across the hall from Mike at Arden Courts. Mike was the very first resident we got to know. On Mom’s , and our first anxious day there, Mike was wandering around the dining room in the Boat House, exceptionally outgoing, friendly and conversational. He won us over immediately with his huge personality, and invitations to join him for a drink, and to help him with some of his “building projects”. This “stranger” immediately became one of our favorites and we affectionately nicknamed him “ Champ”, because that was how he often greeted us, “Hi, Champ! Wanna join me for a drink later? Or you can help me work on this project...” He only gave us a glimpse of the the magnanimous person he once was. I wish I had known him in his healthiest state.
Prayers of comfort and peace you, Arlene, and your extended family as you say “So Long” to your loved one. We understand your loss and also relief for “Champ” to be released into eternity. With our deepest sympathy, Bettie Ann, Jean and Mary (Maddrey sisters)

Dear Arlene and Family,
We met Michael through you Arlene and he became a wonderful friend. He had such a quick wit and fantastic smile. He always left us laughing and was so kind and generous. He could even laugh and enjoy playing golf with two duffers.
Jack loved to watch and talk about sports with Michael. He felt blessed to have met a true friend so late in life. We only wish we had known Michael longer.
Love,
Sue and Jack Bordeaux

Arlene and family,
Michael was like a family member to our family. He was our neighbor for 26 years with so much laughter and friendship shared. Dan loved playing golf with Michael and loved his sense of humor on the golf course. We will remember his love for french fries and gravy, his jokes, his "snake killing skills", his sense of humor, his stories, his smile and laughter, and his love and pride for Arlene and his family.
We love you
Dan and Kathi

My heart goes out to all of you. Mike was such a character. Always could make someone laugh. Definately could put a smile on my dad's face, which was pretty rare. My father loved him and still misses him! My thoughts and prayers for you all.

Mike was one of a kind, and one of the most generous and fun loving men I have known. He and my late husband, Richard were great friends and loved sharing their many memories and stories over a glass or two of their favorite beverage! I'm sure he and Richard are up in Heaven laughing and chasing a few Angels!
