SHEA, MILDRED THERESA, 98, died Friday, January 7, 2011 in Punta Gorda, FL. She was born in Boston, MA and moved to Florida from Bedford, MA to 60th Ave North in Seminole in 1966 where she resided for 38 years. She had been employed by the VA and was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Placida, FL.
Survivors include a son, Richard Charles Barche of Punta Gorda; two sisters, Emma Dimisi of Somerville, MA and Louise Barche of Woodland Hills, CA; 4 grandchildren,11 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Tidewell Hospice of Port Charlotte, FL.
Visitation held Saturday, January 15, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 12 noon at the funeral home. Committal prayers and entombment followed at Garden Sanctuary Cemetery.
