Norma Jean Palmer, 69, of St. Petersburg, FL., passed away Sunday, November 27, 2011. She was born in Dearborn, Michigan, and moved to St. Petersburg, Florida in 1979. Jean worked as a desk attendant at Seminole Bowling Lanes for 32 years. She loved spending time with her family and playing cards. She was a member of the Moose Lodge and American Legion Women’s Auxiliary.
She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandma, and great grandma.
Norma Jean is survived by her husband of 51 years, Richard “Dick” Palmer; sons, Mark, Jeff, and Rick Palmer; grandchildren, Alexia Palmer, Timothy, Amanda, and Matthew Palmer; great grandchildren, Timothy, Chelsey, Aubrey, and Jacob Palmer and Keegan Cummings.
A gathering of family and friends begins at 10:00 a.m. until service time at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the funeral home.
