Patricia Ann Shea (nee Beegan), 85, passed away at her home in Seminole, in the presences of her husband, Peter Matthew Shea, and her son, Brian Matthew Shea, on April 7th 2020. Born and raised in New York City, New York on March 28th 1935.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Gerard Martin and Mary Ellen Beegan (nee Fahy), her siblings Joseph, Matthew, Geraldine, and Mary.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Peter, their children, Patricia Marie Finnegan, Peter Gerard Shea, and Brian. Five grandchildren and her sister, Shelia Anderson.
She worked for 25 years as a secretary and records clerk for the Pinellas County School System at Bardmoor Elementary, Pinellas Park Middle, and Dixie Hollins High School. A devout Catholic; her husband, children, and grandchildren were her world. She loved deeply and lived to be of help to her family and friends. She loved to help and "to be of use" to her loved ones. Her sweetness, devotion and love will always be remembered.
Visitation will be at Garden Sanctuary Funeral Home in Seminole, Sunday June 21st between 12 pm and 2 pm. Funeral Mass with be the following day, June 22nd at St Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 1955 S Belcher Rd, Clearwater, FL 33764, at 10am. Burial will be at St Paul's Cemetery in Hingham, MA.
