
PETER WILLIAM MAKOSKY, the fourth and youngest child of Frank and Helen Makosky was born on August 10, 1945 in Morristown, New Jersey. He was raised in the nearby cozy town of Boonton, New Jersey where his family was very well respected and admired. He graduated from Boonton High School in 1963, where he excelled in athletics (Baseball and Basketball). Then he later attended Drew University, where he continued to excel in athletics. He eventually moved to Clearwater, Florida in the early 1970’s ,Then he ended up meeting the love of his life, Anja which culminated in their union on May 20, 1977. They both decided to temporarily relocate to the town of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, before permanently returning back to Florida and the City of Largo in the late 1980’s, where they enjoyed the fruits of their labor together.
Peter was an avid sports fan, who supported his adopted hometown’s teams (Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Tampa Bay Rays). He also had many other interests, but most of all, he loved to play golf. He was inducted into the Boonton High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 1998. After a valiant battle with numerous illnesses, he peacefully departed this life on January 13, 2013, at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents, (Frank and Helen), and his brother (Paul).
He leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a legacy of love to the following:

Graveside service held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Chapel Hill Memorial Park in Largo, FL.
