Ralph proudly served in the United States Navy on the USS Midway, Crew members called him Deke. After discharged, he moved to Florida where he met Wanda and started his family which he felt was his greatest achievement. He was born and raised in Schenectady New York; the son of Danuil and Helen Rivers. He was the youngest of 5 children. His siblings were Donald, Harold, Bud and Evelyn.
He leaves behind his wife of 57 years, Wanda Rivers; his son and two daughters, Mark and wife Jeanie, Sharon and husband Scott, Laurie and husband David; 7 grandkids and 8 great grandkids.
He was dearly loved. He will be forever remembered and missed.
Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 23, 2018 at Garden Sanctuary Funeral Home and Cemetery with committal prayers and military honors rendered.
