DELANCEY, Robert W., 73, of Seminole, Florida, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on July 25, 1938 to William J. and Blanche Magilson DeLancey.
He moved to Florida in 1955 and was a specialist for General Electric Corp. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1955 to 1959.
He was preceded in death by brothers, William and Ronald DeLancey, and sisters, Loretta Nasse and Joanne Plumbo.
Survivors include his wife, Judy M.; a son, Dale Arthur DeLancey, and his wife, Holly, a brother, Donald DeLancey; a sister, Doreen Miller, and four grandchildren, Jared DeLancey, Lindsey Payne, Drew DeLancey and Brett DeLancey.
A memorial service with Military Honors held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2012 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: the Pinellas County Humane Society.
