PATTERSON, Roger Alan, 83, of Pinellas Park, Florida, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Baldermaro Lopez State Veterans Home in Land O Lakes, FL. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, and moved to Florida in 2002 from West Chicago. He was a retired semi truck driver, and a Navy Veteran of WWII. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Pinellas Park, V.F.W. Post #6827 of Pinellas Park and Mainlands Unit 3 Men’s Club and Bowling League.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol C., and grandson, Eric Anderson.
Survivors include daughters, Christie Northcutt and Doreen Kikstra; sons, Keith A., Shawn G., and D. Grant; and granddaughters, Grace Carol Patterson and Sylvia Faith Patterson.
Inurnment with military honors held 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Bay Pines National Cemetery in Bay Pines, FL.
